SCHEUMANN FAMILY SPORTS PERFORMANCE CENTER Complete Photo Gallery On Monday, December 10, 2019, the Lafayette School Corporation Board of School Trustees approved the naming rights of the new Jefferson H.S. sports performance facility. Due to the generous donation of the John Scheumann Family, the new facility will be named the “Scheumann Family Sports Performance Center.” The state-of-the-art facility is 7,000 square feet and includes 14 squat racks, 14 platforms, six glute-hamstring machines, six multi-purpose performance stations, two dumbbell stations, a sports performance nutrition fueling station and a 1,200 square foot all-purpose turf training area. Sorinex Exercise Equipment, Inc. was awarded the project and is the leader in the strength and conditioning equipment landscape. The “Scheumann Family Sports Performance Center” opened in the summer of 2020 thanks to contributions from the Lafayette School Corporation, Lafayette Jefferson High School and the Golden Broncho Club, which privately raised the money necessary for the equipment for the new center.
