LAFAYETTE JEFF SOFTBALL COMPLEX The Lafayette Jeff Softball Complex was constructed in 2008 and opened for play in the spring of 2009. The facility consists of three concrete and turfed batting cages, concrete dugouts, raised bleachers for fans, press box, concession stand, a men’s and women’s restroom, scoreboard and field lights. The facility also has bullpens outside both dugouts. The Complex is completely concrete from dugout to dugout. The field is used exclusively by Lafayette Jefferson High School softball, and seating capacity is approximately 500. The property where the softball complex is located is owned by the Lafayette School Corporation and is located to the south of the LJHS campus. The field sits adjacent to the LJHS tennis facility, which was built at the same time as the softball field. The softball complex is .2 miles from the LJHS campus.
