Over the holiday break, the boys basketball team traveled up to Highland, Indiana to play in the Highland Holiday Hoops Fest Tournament. In the span of two days, the team picked up three wins. Here is the recap of the victories: December 27: Bronchos defeated Andrean by a score of 52-46. Leading scorers for the Bronchos were Ahkeem Wilson and Angelo Hausmanis. Ahkeem had 19 points and Angelo had 15. In the second game of the day, the Bronchos defeated Griffith by a score of 56-48 in the semifinals. December 28: In the championship bout, the Bronchos outlasted Morgan Township to a final score of 51-46. The Bronchos run their record to 9-2 on the season. They will be next in action, Friday (1/05/24) against the Muncie Central Bearcats in the Crawley Center.
