Mental Performance Resources for Madison Student-Athletes & Coaches

The Madison Consolidated Athletic Department is proud to partner with Higgins Performance Consulting and Dr. Lucy Higgins to provide mental performance resources for our student-athletes and coaches. Success in athletics is about more than physical ability. Confidence, focus, resilience, communication, and mental preparation all play a critical role in helping individuals and teams perform at their highest level. Through this partnership, Dr. Higgins serves as a valuable resource dedicated to helping our athletes and coaches develop these important skills. As part of this collaboration, Dr. Higgins is on campus for up to three hours each week, where she is available to: ♦️ Meet individually with student-athletes ♦️ Meet with coaches ♦️ Lead team sessions ♦️ Provide professional development for coaches ♦️ Observe practices and offer performance insights upon request Student-athletes and coaches may schedule one-on-one appointments during Dr. Higgins' contracted campus hours through Megan Zehren, Athletic Secretary. Please note that student-athletes must have a completed parent/guardian consent form on file before meeting with Dr. Higgins. Coaches may also request additional team sessions outside of the contracted campus hours. These sessions are subject to Dr. Higgins' availability and require prior approval from the Athletic Director. We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Dr. Higgins and Higgins Performance Consulting.
