⚾ RED DEVILS FALL TO MONROE CENTRAL 10-5 AT HOME ⚾ Our Red Devils baseball team battled hard at McBride Stadium but fell to Monroe Central 10-5 on Wednesday. 📊 FINAL SCORE: Monroe Central 10, Richmond 5 📊 Monroe Central out-hit the Red Devils 14-4 📊 Red Devils led 4-1 after 3 innings before Monroe Central rallied 🌟 RED DEVILS HIGHLIGHTS: • Weston Jones (#7) had a HUGE game with 2 hits and 3 RBIs! 🔥 • Logan Belanga (#5) contributed 1 hit and 1 RBI • Jameson Hall (#24) added 1 hit including a double • RED DEVILS STOLE 5 BASES showing speed on the basepaths! 💨 • Tyrel Brown (#10) swiped 2 stolen bases 🌟 PITCHING EFFORT: • Malachi Moore (#8) started and battled through 2 innings • Jay Burdette (#13) worked 3 innings with 4 strikeouts • Jameson Hall (#24) and Darin Candlish (#25) provided relief Despite leading 4-1 after three innings, Monroe Central's big 5th (4 runs) and 6th (4 runs) innings proved to be too much.
