Richmond traveled across the State line to play an unusual Thursday Night Football game. The match-up was originally scheduled to be televised as the Miami Valley Thursday Night Lights game of the week. Due to Heat index issues, the kick-off time was pushed back, which consequently canceled the broadcast. The Eagles scored on both of their first two possessions and the Devils could never get back in it. Richmond returns to Action next Friday Night at Anderson for the opening game of North Central Conference play.
