Aderman & Haupert advance in IHSAA Track Sectionals

The Varsity boys track team traveled to Marion Thursday evening to compete in the IHSAA Sectional Tournament. The Norse finished 9th as a team with 31 points. Team Scores: Bluffton 94, Oak Hill 91, Marion 88, Mississinewa 70, Wabash 68, Eastbrook 56, Madison Grant 54, Frankton 36, NORTHFIELD 31, Southwood 18, Southern Wells 11, Blackford 7 Individually, we had two boys place in the top 3 of their event, earning them a trip to IHSAA Regionals next Thursday. Blake Aderman was 2nd in the 110m High Hurdles in 16.15. Tyler Haupert was 3rd in Pole Vault with a vault of 12'. Other scoring athletes for the Norse: 4th Place: 4x800m- Mason Lyons, Briggs Baker, Logan Lyons, Brayden Rice 8:20.16 PR High Jump- Kasen Frank 6'2" PR 5th Place: 4x400m- Blake Aderman, Tyler Haupert, Mason Lyons, Brayden Rice 3:34.33 PR 7th Place: Pole Vault- Luke Haupert 10' 6" PR 8th Place: 100m- Tyler Haupert 11.57 Nonscoring athletes with new PRs: 800m- Nate Hodson 2:30.85; Kelvin Held 2:45.25 3200m- Ethan Hoover 11:50.48 Shot Put- Rylan Turner 38'8"
