The varsity girls track team traveled to Marion High School Tuesday evening to compete in the IHSAA Sectional Tournament. The Lady Norse finished 10th as a team with 19.5 points. Team Scores: Oak Hill 166, Marion 78, Bluffton 76, Eastbrook 70, Madison Grant 63, Southwood 39.5, Frankton 29, Mississinewa 28, Southern Wells 23, NORTHFIELD 19.5, Wabash 18, Blackford 14 Individually, we had two girls place in the top 3 of their event, earning them a trip to IHSAA Regionals next Tuesday. Sophia Holley was 2nd in Pole Vault tying her PR at 8'. Kaleigh Rice was 2nd in the 3200m with a new PR of 11:44.73. Finishing just outside of an advancement spot was Emily Miller with a 4th place finish in high jump at 4'10".
