Northfield's 8th grade boys battled to a second place finish in the 2024-2025 RRC championship on Saturday at Northfield. They started the morning off by beating a tough Whitko team 37-33. Leading the way for the Norse were Bode Sorg and Logan Holmes with 10 pts each, Brody Schnurpel had 7 points, Liam Clark chipped in 6 points and Asa Dawes had 4. They then got to play Maconaquah for the championship. The Norse came up a bit short but battled to a 31-37 loss. Sorg, Clark, and Schnurpel all scored 7 points, Logan Holmes had 4 points and Asa Dawes and Bentley Smith had 3.
