The Northfield Varsity Wrestling Team journeyed to Eastern High School on Friday and Saturday to compete in the Holiday Classic. The Classic, a 10-team head-to-head dual meet invitational over two days, tested their teamwork. Through their unwavering dedication and hard work, the Norsemen finished the tournament 9-0, taking home the Tournament trophy. Four Norsemen, 126lbs-Brayden Rice, 138lbs-Tayten Barlow, 144lbs-Kameron Pratt, and 150lbs-Eli Gahl, showcased their individual skills, going 9-0 during the tournament. The team's collective effort resulted in an impressive 48 pins and 489 team points, overshadowing their opponent's total of 221.
