Varsity vs Peru (30 - 18) WinOn Tuesday night, the Lady Norsemen hosted the Peru Lady Tigers in a head-to-head dual meet. The team's unity was evident as all five wrestlers earned wins, leading to a 30-18 victory even after forfeiting three weight classes! Junior Ella France scored 6 points, pinning her opponent in 1:30 securing the win for Northfield. Sophomore Olia Leffert pinned her opponent in 45 seconds. Sophomores Amarah Frieden and Kaedence Mitchell both won via forfeit. The highlight of the evening was Senior Ella Gahl winning her 100th varsity career win, pinning her Peru opponent in 1:10. The Lady Norsemen will next travel to East Noble High School on Saturday, 12/07/24, to compete in the East Noble Girls Wrestling Invitational.
