The Northfield Boy's Wrestling Team kicked off their 2024-2025 season by hosting the 2nd Annual Bill Campbell Wrestling Invitational on Saturday. In head-to-head duel action, Northfield competed against Manchester, Oak Hill, Tippecanoe Valley, Triton, and Tri-Central High Schools. The grappling Norsemen finished 4-1 on the day, losing to Oak Hill in a 38-38 tie that had to be determined after a review of 7 different criteria. This is the closest Northfield has been to beat Oak Hill since 1996, showing significant progress and promising future for the team.
