Northfield Varsity Golf traveled to Rock Hollow Tuesday to compete in Three Rivers Conference Tournament. The Norsemen would come out with the victory with a 333 sealing their third consecutive conference title in the last three years. Tristan Hoffman and Gavin Brainard both tallied a pair of 88's and Easton Shaw finished with an 84. Tyson Baer and his group were the last foursome to finish on hole 18 with the Norse down by 4 strokes, but Baer's 73 was too much to handle as it was enough to pull ahead of Rochester by 4 strokes. Ryder Schram finished as the Norsemen's 5th but did not replace a top 4 score. The top 10 individuals were awarded "All Conference" medals. Northfield managed to take up 4 of the 10 places. Tyson Baer by no surprise would take the overall medalist for the second straight year while Easton Shaw placed 5th overall. Tristan Hoffman and Gavin Brainard would both T-6th overall out of the entire conference field. The Norse travel to Eagle Glen in Columbia City on Monday, June 3rd, as they look to compete in the Sectional among a strong field of competition. The Norse will begin teeing off at 8:50 am paired with Warsaw, Culver Academy, and Huntington North.
