Northfield Varsity Golf traveled to Rock Hollow Saturday to compete against 20 other schools in the 18 hole annual event. The Norse carded 326 as a team finishing only behind the stiff competition of Westfield, Center Grove, Carmel, and Tipton. Tyson Baer led the Norse and finished as 2nd overall medalist for the day carding a 69(-3). A Northfield 18 hole school record! Easton Shaw finished the day out well nearing a top 10 finish in the heavy field with a 77. Tristan Hoffman came in at 88, followed by Gavin Brainard 92, and Ryder Schram with a 96 his first time playing at Rock Hollow. The Norsemen at 326 improved 15 shots better than last year's event. They will look to close out the regular season next week with matches against Southern Wells and Pioneer.
