The Northfield JV baseball team fell to Logansport by a score of 2-12. The Norse took the lead after the first inning 2-0. But the Norse gave up 6 in the second, and another 6 the rest of the way. The Norse were strong at the plate with Wyatt Bucher, Ethan Bruce, and Jax Martin all earning hits, and Luke Evinson seeing three walks on the day. The mound was opened by Wyatt Bucher pitching 2.1 innings and only giving up 2 hits. He was followed by Jacob Nesler who only gave up 3 hits on 18 batters after 3.1 innings. With Holton Satterthwaite sealing the final out. The JV Norse will next travel to Central Noble on Saturday May 4.
