The Northfield JV BB lost to the Tigers of Peru, 2-9. The Norse quickly put up 2 runs in the first by Eli Bone and Jacob Nestler. Peru answered with 3 runs plated in the bottom of the first. Threat of the contest would see Peru adding another 6 runs while the Norse were unable to earn any additional runs. Rylan Schultz and Holton Satterwaite are credited with the two RBIs while Luke Eviston and Rylan Schultz added to their season hits with a single each. On the mound for the Norse was Kasey Lamson who struck out 3 and gave up 7 hits for the evening. The Norse next travel to Logansport on Tuesday, April 30.
