Baer Dominates the Field; Eastbrook Edges Norse in Tiebreaker

Northfield Boys' Golf took on Eastbrook and Wabash in a three way match Monday. The Norsemen fell just shy tying Eastbrook's 9 hole score 164 with Eastbrook taking the tiebreaker. Wabash would finish with a 189 as team. Tyson Baer outshined the field once again with a 33 to earn medalist for the second straight match in a row. The -3 under par would top his previous match of -2 the week before. Baer surrendered just one bogey on the night, capturing 4 birdies through 9 holes. Easton Shaw would finish the night with a 40, followed by Gavin Brainard 45 and Tristan Hoffman 46. The Norsemen will look to bounce back on Wednesday to host Tipp Valley for another home match at Honeywell Golf Course. The Norse JV would also fall short in a nail biter to Eastbrook 220-219. Hank Gray led the way with a 49 followed by Ethan Hoover's 52 to improve his best 9 of the season. Also competing for the young Norsemen were Ryder Schram, Cole Hobert, Issac Stakeman, and Seth Castle.
