The Northfield Varsity Wrestling Team competed in the Eastern High School Holiday Classic Friday and Saturday. The Holiday Classic is a two-day, ten-team, head-to-head dual Invitational. The Varsity Team wrestled five matches on Friday and four on Saturday, finishing with a 7-2 record, scoring a total team point of 474, the most of all ten teams present. Northfield earned three individual champions: Freshman Eli Gahl going 9-0 at 126lbs, Sophomore Jace Phillips going 8-1 at 113lbs, and Senior Layne Denton going 8-1 at 157lbs.
