After a week off because of the rain, the Lady Norse finally got to play some golf. The Lady Norse beat Whitko 198-254. Leading the way for the Norse and medalist for the night was senior Ayla Dale shooting a 46. Senior Viv Haupert fired a 47, and rounding out the scoring for the night was junior Montgomrie Dawes and sophomore Kassidy Cartwright both shooting 52. A group of 6 Lady Norse kicked off their season tonight in their first match. Junior Ali Copeland had herself a night shooting an impressive score of 52, which was a new personal best! Mikayla Meyer and Ryleigh Drudge kicked off their first career match ever shooting 61 and 72. Senior Millie Higgins shot a strong 65 and senior Vanessa Lyons rounded out the scoring with a 71. The Norse are now 24-3 on the season and return to action Wednesday, August 19th, as they take on some great competition in Bluffton and Manchester. Shotgun start at 5pm at Honeywell Golf Course.
