Northfield earns walk-off win over Lewis Cass After trailing 5-1 in the top of the 4th inning, the Lady Norse battled back and earned a 7-6 victory. Gemma Haupert's heads up base running tied up the game at 6 in the bottom of the 7th inning. A single by Kaylee Dennis followed with a double (10th of the season!) by Sophie Powell put runners on 2nd and 3rd. Teagan Baer came through with a walk-off single, scoring the winning run. Gemma Haupert lead the offense with 3 hits. Kaylee and Teagan both had 2. Tenley, Ali, Sophie, Mikayla, and Emma all had 1 each for a total of 12 hits for the night. The Lady Norse will travel to Southwood Wednesday for their next conference game.
