It was a great night to be a Norsemen as the 7th and 8th grade girls both defeated Taylor. 7th grade kicked off the night playing fantastic defense and holding Taylor to 15 points. The Norse won 21-15. They were led by sharp shooter Paisly Swanson with 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist, and 2 very impressive blocks. Hadley Culver had 6 points and 4 rebounds. Diem Rosemeyer chipped in 3 points and was very aggressive on the glass collecting 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block. Karmyn Baer had 2 points and 1 rebound. Addi Jones chipped in 2 points, an impressive 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist. Auttie Fulkerson had 4 rebounds and 1 assist. The 8th grade kept the momentum going as they cruised to victory over the Titans 30-4. The Norse played suffocating defense as they forced 30 turnovers. The Norse were led by Addie Hawkens with 11 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 assist, and 1 block. Followed by Maguire Dyson with 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 big blocks. Elaina Harrington chipped in 5 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist. Bristal Foust had 3 points, 2 rebounds, and the highlight with 8 steals. Cora Barnard had herself a night as she collected 14 rebounds!! She also pitched in 2 points, 2 steals, and 1 assist. Izzy Sea rounded out the scoring with 1 point, 2 rebounds, 4 steals & Haylee Bucher had 1 steal.
