7th Grade vs Lewis Cass Jr-Sr High School (27 - 12) Win The 7th grade boys earned a victory over Lewis Cass Tuesday night by a score of 27-12. We began the game strong by leading 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. By halftime, we were leading 16-2 because of our active hands on defense. The boys were able to get out in transition which led to easy baskets and allowed us to set our defense. Everyone played well and contributed to the win. 8th Grade vs Lewis Cass Jr-Sr High School (29 - 38) Loss The Norsemen came out to start slow and put them behind early 0-8. Northfield was able to get it within 6 with the help of defensive pressure and fast break points. At half NJHS was still trailing 11-17. In the second half the 8th graders still struggled to rebound allowing too many 2nd chance points for Lewis Cass. Selleck led the way with 17 points, Haupert and Holbert had 5 a piece and McKillip added 2 points. Northfield Hosts Southwood tonight at 6:00.
