The Northfield Junior Varsity Boys Wrestling team delivered an impressive performance, defeating Huntington North 30-24 in a competitive dual meet. Match Recap** Huntington North opened strong, earning three quick pins from Jeffrey Freeman (106 lbs), Raymond Trusty (126 lbs), and Braedon Snyder (132 lbs) to take an early 18-0 lead. Northfield responded with determination, winning five consecutive matches by fall to swing the momentum. Northfield’s winning streak began at 144 lbs**, where Brennan Swan pinned Noah Runion in 1:27. Cole Hemingway (157 lbs) followed with a pin over Estheban Hernandez in 1:39, and Xavier Roark (165 lbs) added another fall in just 1:15.
