Varsity vs Maconaquah (54 - 56) Loss The Lady Norse took on Maconaquah Thursday night in a closely contested game. The Norse jumped out to a 5-0 lead early on in a quick paced game. However, at the end of the 1st quarter Northfield found themselves trailing 17-12 after a Teagan Baer half court buzzer beater. Heading into the 2nd quarter the Norse found some rhythm vs Maconaquah's pressure with the score even at 27 all heading into halftime. The most crucial part of the game came in the 3rd quarter where the Norse allowed 27 pts, finding themselves trailing by 12 at the end of the 3rd. In the 4th quarter the Lady Norse showed their "Blue Collar" mentality and fought back to a one possession game only to come up a little short with a final score of 56-54.
