8th Grade vs Taylor (36 - 29) Win. The 8th grade boys won a hard fought battle against Taylor last night. After a slow first half defensively and tough time at the free throw line the boys were down 15-8 at halftime. 8th grade came out in the second half and found their rhythm defensively and moved the ball very well offensively. Everyone hustled and played hard while making huge improvements throughout the game. Outscoring Taylor 28-14 to come away with 36-29 victory. Next Monday we will travel to Riverview. 7th Grade vs Taylor (28 - 30) Loss The 7th grade boys basketball team lost to Taylor at home 30-28. An early 8-2 run to start the game propelled the Norse to a 13-10 lead at half. The finished strong scoring 11 points in the fourth quarter, but Taylor made enough free throws to put the game out of reach. Hudson Texeira led the way in scoring with 11 points and Drew Floor grabbed 7 rebounds. The boys next game is Monday, Dec. 8th at Riverview.
