Varsity vs Peru (54 - 57) Loss Friday night the Lady Norse took on the Peru Lady Tigers in a TRC matchup. It was the conference opener for the Lady Norse. The first half faired well for the Lady Norse leading 29-19 at the half. With 2:40 left in the 3rd quarter they had stretched the lead to 17 pts. Peru then turned to their 1-2-2 Half Court Trap and began chipping away at the lead. After turning a 17 point deficit into a 3 point lead, the Lady Norse had one last attempt in front of their own bench. They ran a play that resulted in a Teagan Baer 3 pt bucket in the corner to tie the game and send it into overtime. In the overtime, the Lady Norse went back and forth with the lead but could not manage to keep their lead down the stretch.
