Amarah Frieden Earns Double Runner-Up Finishes Junior Amarah Frieden (140 B) delivered a powerful run, pinning her way to the finals in both the main and 3rd/4th brackets. She opened with a lightning-fast fall over Piper Roudebush (CAST) in just 54 seconds, followed by a 33-second pin against Adriana Delacruz (ANGO) in the semifinals. Though she fell to Charisma Lawrence (MERR) and Alice Scharp (CHES) in the final rounds, Frieden’s aggressive style earned her two second-place finishes and 22 team points. Izabella Schultz Dominates Consolation Path to 3rd Freshman Izabella Schultz (190) rebounded from a tough quarterfinal loss to Naomi Arroyo (LAKE) with a commanding streak of pins. Schultz took down five opponents in the consolation bracket, including a decisive 40-second fall over Emma Turnblom (PENN) to secure 3rd place and 19.5 team points. Her performance highlighted Northfield’s rising talent in the upper weights. Growth Across the Roster Several Northfield wrestlers gained valuable experience in deep brackets: Brielle Wells (135) earned a first-round pin before falling in the quarters and consolation semis, contributing 4 team points.
