Varsity vs Elwood Community High School Win Indians Beat Elwood last night 12 to nothing at Lapel High School. Kaiden Campbell struck out 10 batters while only surrendering one hit and zero runs over five innings while walking just two Panther hitters. The Indians got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kohen Bailey drew a walk which scored one run, Beans Fortney singled scoring one run, and Rashad Holmes also singled scoring three runs. The Indians added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Kaiden Campbell singled and Kohen Bailey tripled each scoring one run. Mississinewa continued to add to its lead in the top of the third inning after Deakon Dilts tripled and Elwood committed an error each scoring one run. the Indians collected 12 hits in the game Deakon Dilts, Rashad Holmes, and Kaiden Campbell each collected two hits for the Indians. Bailey and Holmes each drove in two runs for Mississinewa.
