Mississinewa High School

Boys and Girls Track competed at the Eastbook Invitational on Friday. Mississinewa boys scored 179, securing first place. Ole Miss Girls had 85 points and placed 2nd overall in the meet. Mason Wyrick was awarded the Male athlete of the night. Mason was champion of the 110 Meter hurdles and placed 2nd overall in long jump, 300 Meter hurdles and top 3 in high jump, to earn the honor. Meet champions were: William Couse in the shotput and discus, Adrian Jeter in the mile, Karsyn Bougher in the 200 Meter dash, Kyler North in the 800 M and the 3200 meter and the Boys 4x1 relay of Daylin Davis, Dre Campos, Karsyn Bougher and Boston Burbank Karsyn Bougher was also champion in the 200 Meter dash. For the Girls team, Avery Mariol was the meet champion in the 100 Meter hurdles. Carsyn Yeakle was the meet champion in the Long jump. The Indians had multiple 2nd and 3rd places on both teams to accumulate points throughout the meet.
