JV Mustangs pour in 70 points in win over Mitchell

The Edgewood JV scored the first 2 points of the game, then never looked back on the way to a dominant 70 - 48 win at Mitchell. The Mustangs' defense forced 26 turnovers, many of which led to scoring opportunities on the offensive end. Carter Hayden led the Edgewood attack with 23 points, while Henry Norris added 15. In addition, Dylan Wickens scored 8 points, Evan Jacobs, Jack Ripley and Trae Shields scored 6 points each, Aiden Bing had 4, and Evan Enghauser had 2 points to complete the scoring for the Mustangs. Bing, Hayden and Shields each grabbed 4 rebounds, Shields had 3 assists, while Ripley had 4 steals and Hayden and Jacobs added 3 apiece to lead those categories for Edgewood. The Mustangs are back in action on Tuesday evening with they play host to Brown County.
