Edgewood jumped out to an early lead and held it for most of the game on the way to a 59 - 55 win at Martinsville. The Mustangs continually found driving lanes to the basket, which led to them shooting at a 65% clip (22 of 34) from 2-point range. Edgewood was led by AJ Norris and Caden Jones with 16 and 14 points, respectively, while Will Inman scored 12 and Kam Ranard added 10. Finally, Reece Roberts scored 3 points and Carl Norris and Carson Huttenlocker had 2 points each to complete the scoring for the Mustangs. Jones pulled down 9 rebounds and grabbed 3 steals, while Roberts also had 3 steals to lead those categories. Edgewood is back on the road on Saturday evening when they travel to Orleans to face the 1A #2 Bulldogs.
