The Edgewood JV jumped out in front of the rival Patriots early, and then kept their foot on the gas in a 50 - 19 romp at Owen Valley. The Mustangs used their superior size and strength to capitalize on both ends of the floor - scoring easy baskets inside and making it very difficult for their hosts to find any offensive rhythm. Dylan Wickens and Trae Shields led a balanced Edgewood attack with 11 points each, while Henry Norris added 10 and Carter Hayden scored 8. Finally, Aiden Bing scored 6 points, and Evan Jacobs and Karson Gladhill had 2 points apiece to complete the scoring for the Mustangs. Bing led with 6 rebounds, while Jacobs, Gladhill and Shields all grabbed 5 for Edgewood. Norris and Shields both had 4 steals to lead that category for the Mustangs. The JV Mustangs are back in action on Saturday evening when they travel to Greencastle.
