JV Mustangs come up short against Cardinals

By Chuck Souder | Dec 14, 2024 10:21 PM

The Edgewood JV snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by getting outscored 19 - 8 in the fourth quarter on the way to a 49 - 41 loss. A lack of rebounding and an inability to hit shots down the stretch doomed the Mustangs. Carter Hayden and Evan Jacobs had 15 and 12 points, respectively, while Dylan Wickens and Aiden Bing scored 6 points each and Karson Gladhill had 2 points to complete the scoring for Edgewood. Hayden had 8 rebounds and Jacobs had 4 assists and 3 steals to lead those categories for the Mustangs.
