The girls basketball picked up a key WIC win on the road with a thrilling 57-55 victory over Sullivan. Ally Bland's 17' jump shot at the buzzer finished a 15 to 5 run for Edgewood to secure the win. Ally finished with 24 points on 11/18 shooting. Macey Crider finished with a double double, 14 points and 10 rebounds, along with 5 steals and 4 blocks. Madi Bland had 10 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals (we won't mention the number of turnovers). Addison yearby had two big threes for 6 points and Ava LaRoche hit a key three late for 3 points. However, it was the defense of LaRoche and Kaitlyn Wright that limited Sullivan's outstanding post player to just 8 points and 2 offensive rebounds that was a big key to the game. The Lady Mustangs have two weeks off before two WIC girl/boy double headers with Cloverdale and North Putnam.
