Senior night is always a special night for a team; this one was no different. The guys showed up and helped secure a 5-0 win against South Putnam to not only honor the hard work our seniors have put in but also to secure a 6-2 conference record for the second year in a row. The win was secured quickly as all 3 singles matches ended in 6-0, 6-0 victories, putting us up 3-0. Doubles took a little longer, but they both followed suit with 1 dubs winning 6-1, 6-4 and 2 dubs winning 6-4, 6-1. Our senior players have done an amazing job leading our team this year. We graduated 4 varsity players last year and all 5 of these guys looked at that as a challenge to repeat another winning season. They put in the work and the effort from the first optional practice in July through to last night. They have treated our underclassmen with respect and led with their actions on and off the court. We will miss each and every one of them next year. We wish them all the best as they graduate and head on to whatever is next, be it college or the work force.
