The Mustangs are off to a great start with a 3-0 win over Greenwood Christian. After loosing 8 seniors from last season, Edgewood worked extremely well as a team to beat the good Greenwood Christian team. The effort was still high when players were tired today and that made all the difference. Zhenia Venegas scored the first goal off of a free kick 13 minutes into the game. Kimmie Franklin sliced through the defense and got a goal with 13 minutes left in the half. Parker Witt put in a third after dribbling through the defense with 15 minutes left in the game. Macey Crider kept the score clean with 3 saves.
