JV Mustangs race past Indianapolis Washington, 57 - 35

The Edgewood JV raced out to a 19 - 1 lead after the first quarter and were never challenged in a dominant 57 - 35 win over visiting Indianapolis George Washington. The Mustangs forced numerous turnovers which led to easy baskets that allowed them to stretch the lead to 34 points by halftime, then coasted to the comfortable win. Henry Norris led Edgewood with 20 points, while Cam Christie added 13 and Jack Ripley had 12. Finally, Liam Newton scored 6 points, Dylan Wickens had 4 and Eli Lirot had 2 points to complete the scoring. Ripley had 7 rebounds and Norris grabbed 6, while Christie dished out 6 assists to lead those categories for the Mustangs. The Edgewood JV plays again on Tuesday evening when they travel to Bloomfield.
