It wasn't always pretty, as the JV Mustangs missed on numerous shots from point-blank range, but, in the end, they prevailed 50 - 39 over visiting Mitchell. Edgewood led by just 5 at 38 - 33 early in the 4th quarter but then scored a couple of quick baskets to open the lead back up and secure the win. Jack Ripley and Dylan Wickens led the Mustangs with 10 points each, while Henry Norris added 7, Cam Christie, Eli Lirot, and Drew Figg all scored 6, and Liam Newton had 5 points to complete the scoring. Lirot had 5 rebounds and Newton had 3 steals to lead those categories for Edgewood. The JV Mustangs play again on Saturday evening, when the host Indianapolis Washington.
