Edgewood travelled to Cascade for an early 1:30 tipoff on Saturday, but came up on the short end of a 57 - 51 score. The Mustangs led 24 - 21 at the half, but a 20-point 3rd quarter by the Cadets flipped the script and had Edgewood trying to play catch up the rest of the way. Reece Roberts led the scoring for the Mustangs with 12 points, while Caden Jones and Luke Druckrey had 11 points each. In addition, AJ Norris and Karson Gladhill scored 5 points apiece, Carter Hayden had 4, and Evan Jacobs had 3 points to complete the scoring. Jacobs led with 7 rebounds and Jones added 5, while Norris had 3 assists and 3 steals to lead those categories for Edgewood. The Mustangs will have a few days of rest before they host Shakamak on Friday evening.
