JV Mustangs run away from Brown County 71 - 20

The JV Mustangs raced out to a 32 - 2 lead after one quarter and then coasted to an easy 71 - 20 win at Brown County. Edgewood frustrated their hosts with pressure defense, forcing 45 turnovers on the way to their overwhelming victory. Karson Gladhill led a well-balanced attack with 15 points, as 11 different Mustangs found the scoring column. Cam Christie, Jack Ripley, and Liam Newton scored 8 points each, while Luke Druckrey and Aiden Williamson both scored 7. In addition, Zane Powell scored 6 points, Garrett Brown had 4, Evan Enghauser and Henry Norris both scored 3 and Drew Figg had 2 points to complete the scoring for Edgewood. Newton and Norris both grabbed 8 rebounds, while Gladhill added 7, Ripley dished out 5 assists, and Norris had 8 steals, Ripley added 5, and Christie had 4 to lead those categories for the Mustangs. The Edgewood JV next plays on Saturday evening when they travel to South Putnam.
