Bloomfield came out on fire and unfortunately Edgewood couldn't match their shot-making in a lackluster 60 - 37 loss in the third round of the Wabash Valley Classic. The Cardinals hit 5 out of their first 6 three-point attempts, while the Mustangs were going 0 for 5 (on the way to 0 for 12 for the game), and Edgewood never mounted a serious challenge. AJ Norris and Luke Druckrey led the Mustangs with 9 points each, while Caden Jones added 6 and Carter Hayden scored 4. Finally, four Edgewood players - Zane Powell, Evan Jacobs, Reece Roberts, and Karson Gladhill - scored 2 points each and Dylan Wickens had 1 points to complete the scoring. Druckrey grabbed 4 rebounds while Wickens, Norris, and Jones added 3 each, Norris added 2 assists, and Druckrey had 2 steals to lead those categories for Edgewood. The Mustangs are now off until they travel to Brown County on January 9th.
