It was a tale of two halves, with Edgewood dominating the first half against visiting Sullivan, only to see their 14-point halftime lead evaporate in a 20-point swing that found the Mustangs trailing by 6 with under 2 minutes to play. Fortunately, it was at that point that Caden Jones found his shooting touch, hitting three straight 3-pointers, including one to beat the buzzer in regulation and force the game into overtime, where Edgewood prevailed 53 - 50. Jones led the Mustangs with 17 points and 10 rebounds, with Evan Jacobs adding 11 points and 8 boards and Luke Druckrey also scoring 11. Rounding out the scoring for Edgewood was AJ Norris with 6 points (to go along with 4 assists), Reece Roberts with 5 points, Zane Powell with 2 and Dylan Wickens with 1. With the win, the Mustangs improved to 4 -1 on the season, and will next play on December 26 against Linton in the opening round of the Wabash Valley Classic in Terre Haute.
