Edgewood travelled to Indian Creek Friday night and came home with a hard-fought 53 -44 win. In a game that was back and forth through the first 3 quarters, the Mustangs finally established control down the stretch, outscoring their hosts 19 - 10 in the final period to seal the victory. Caden Jones caught fire in the 2nd half, scoring 21 points after the break on 8 of 8 from the field, including 4 of 4 from 3-pt range and 3 impressive dunks to lead Edgewood with 23 points. In addition, Luke Druckrey scored 8 points, Evan Jacobs had 7, AJ Norris scored 6 and Carter Hayden had 5. Finally, Reece Roberts and Dylan Wickens had 2 points each to complete the scoring for the Mustangs. Jacobs and Zane Powell both pulled down 4 rebounds and Norris had 4 assists to lead those categories for Edgewood. The Mustangs will try to make it 2 in a row when they host Sullivan on Saturday evening.
