Wabash High School

The Lady Apaches continued the epidemic of slow starts as they trailed Marion 17-7 to start the game but a big run gave Wabash a 41-32 lead at the half. The Lady Apaches would extend that lead to 52-32 to start the 3rd quarter but then the Lady Giants would start chipping away at the lead. Wabash led 54-45 heading into the final period but Marion would cut that lead to 3 on multiple occasions. The Lady Apaches fought off the Marion comeback and held on for the 68-61 victory at Bill Green Arena. Wabash, now 3-1 on the season, was led by Kait Honeycutt with 27 points while Anna Daughtry and Brookelynn Buzzard added 15 and 14. Bryleigh Boggs pulled down 8 rebounds for the Lady Apaches. The JV fell to Marion 50-21. Lee Hicks and Pasyn Schuler led the Lady Apaches with 9 and 6 points.
