The Lady Apaches pick up their 5th strait win with a score of 3-0 over Eastern HS. Wabash maintained control of ball majority of the game with shots coming from Brookelynn Buzzard, Kait Honeycutt, Samantha Walter, Anna Daughtry, Raegan Jones, Olivia Wilkin, Gracie Bearman and Graci Napier. In the first half, a great service from Honeycutt to Daughtry and then a cross from Daughtry to Buzzard for a fantastic touch and finish into goal found the Lady Apaches up 1-0. Then a 30 yard ball from Logan Wright to Daughtry to set up her shot and put it in the back of the net put them up 2-0. In the 2nd half, Wilkin took a shot inside the 6 and put it up and over the keeper's head for a final 3-0 score. Olivia Braun in goal for the Lady Apaches and the defense of Jaycee Jones, Abbi Hipskind, Samantha Walter and Logan Wright allowed 0 shots on goal. Graci Napier worked incredibly hard in the midfield to maintain possession for Wabash. Wabash improves to 9-5 on the season. The next Lady Apaches soccer game is Senior Night this Thursday, Oct. 3rd at Alumni Field at 6pm. Come out and celebrate our seniors on our last regular season game!
