Wabash Boys Soccer came up short against Blackford Thursday night in a 0-6 loss. The team has had a rough patch with illness and injuries taking a lot of players out of competition and faced the Briuns with only 11 guys to take the field. But those 11 played hard for the full game and managed some periods of attacking dominance. Edin Choc and Max Carpenter had multiple shots on goal. Braxten Shidler and Ty Carpenter shored up the middle of the field. Derek Reed and Jose Robles turned in their regular solid defensive performances. The Apaches are now 2-9 on the season with 4 games left before Sectional. Wabash will wrap up the TRC schedule next Tuesday when they travel to Peru.
