The Wabash Lady Apaches got their 2nd TRC win of the season with a 3-1 win over Peru. Goalkeeper Kait Honeycutt had another strong game in goal with 5 saves on the night. Fantasic defense tonight by Jaycee Jones, Colleena Meadows, Abbi Hipskind and Samantha Walter. Midfielders Emma Weaver, Gracie Napier, Logan Wright and Raegan Jones covered a lot of ground for Wabash and distributed well to support offensive attacks. Brooklyn Buzzard put all 3 Wabash goals away with Wright assisting 2 of them and Anna Daughtry providing the service for her first assist of the season. The Lady Apaches are now 3-1 on the season and 2-1 in the TRC. Wabash plays again on Saturday, when they host MIssissinewa.
