Wabash High School

The Girls Varsity Soccer team hosted their jamboree Saturday, scrimmaging both Eastbrook and Oak Hill. Wabash allowed 3 goals in each scrimmage. Goalkeeper Olivia Braun had 9 saves on the day, with Jaycee Jones, Abbie Hipskind and Colleena Meadows working hard on the defensive end winning 3 offsides traps. Jaycee had a non-goalkeeper save. Graci Napier and Kait Honeycutt did a great job winning and controlling the ball centrally and distributing to wings Sammi Walter and Raegan Jones. Shots on goal for the Apaches came from Brooklyn Buzzard and Logan Wright, with Emma Weaver providing good offensive minutes for Wabash as well. The Lady Apaches open their season on Thursday at Tipp Valley.
