The Lady Apaches JV opened the 2023 Wabash County Tourney against the hosts and pulled out a 36-32 overtime thriller to advance to Saturdays championship. Wabash would fall behind 11-4 after a quarter and spend the middle quarters chipping into the Northfield lead, trailing 26-22 after 3. The Lady Apaches would outscore the Lady Norse 9-5 in the fourth to send the game to OT and then win the OT period 5-1 to pull out the win. Wabash, now 8-7, was led by Olivia Braun with 10 points while Kenley McWhirt and Logan Wright added 9 and 7. Jaycee Jones pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the team.
