High School Boys Cross Country Finishes 2nd Out Of 24 Teams At Manchester Invite

The Wabash High School Boys Varsity Cross Country Team traveled to the Manchester Invitational Saturday morning. The Apaches came in 2nd in the 24 team field with 80 points. Penn High School won the meet with a score of 54. Jonas Church was the first Wabash runner to cross the line in 5th place. Kaden Vogel, Isaiah Cordes, Bobby Shull, and Ezra Church were all within 8 places of each other coming in 14th, 18th, 21st, and 22nd respectively. Chase Howard and Kasen Oswalt were also close finishing in 62nd and 66th. Maverick Sommers finished in 133rd. There were a total of 179 runners in the race. The Apaches travel to Brown County next Saturday.
